Meet the Committee
Our club is managed by a small but dedicated group of volunteers.
Club President
Frazer Robertson (He/Him)
I moved to Perth in 2019 and quickly discovered that there was no LGBTIQ+ sports offering for my community in Perthshire. Having volunteered with LEAP Sports Scotland for many years, I understood that there was a real untapped opportunity for a new club to be formed. Perth Parrots took its first steps in June 2019 as part of the annual Festival Fortnight sports festival, and the rest as they say is history!
Being the club President is a huge honor and massively fulfilling. Our first five years as a club have flown by and I look to the future with real optimism and excitement as to what the next five will bring.
Club Secretary
Atlas Martin (He/Him)
I wanted to join the committee to do my bit to make the Parrots the best club it can be for all our members. I really enjoy getting stuck in where I can to help things run as well as they do or implement improvements, and it’s great to be involved in overall club development and planning for the future. I think it’s really valuable to be able to put our heads together as a committee on all aspects of the Parrots, including the “behind-the-scenes” type stuff that running a club like this requires; there’s always lots of interesting discussion at meetings and I just find it really rewarding to be part of it.

Head Coach
Rhuaraidh Fleming (He/Him)
Having played floorball for almost a decade before joining the Parrots, I was well placed to take on coaching responsibilities, to help develop our league squad and upskill anybody who attends our training sessions while keeping those sessions fun and engaging. Our primary activity is floorball and being part of the committee ensured that we never lose sight of that.

I believe there is no point in complaining when you are not going to do something about it. This is why I think it is so essential for everyday people to join committees when they care about something. We all have the ability to influence change and I want to ensure that my voice is heard. I love everything that the Parrots stand for and I want to ensure I am doing everything I can to make it the best club it can be.

Club Quartermaster
Nat Goddard (He/Him)
Inclusion in Sport is something that I believe is incredibly important, with everyone being given the same chances to take part in sport no matter what and this belief is what made the Parrots the perfect club to join. I have also been involved in the clubs I am a part of and I looked to take those opportunities in the Parrots, as the Quartermaster setting up and looking after all the kit, as a referee in training and the league and through helping to coach and develop all the members of the club. I am incredible proud to be a part of the Parrots Committee and to be taking part in shaping the future of this amazing club.

Committee Member
Rebecca May (She/They)
Growing up I didn’t see much queer representation, especially not any non-binary. I never felt truly comfortable in sport settings. I believe that if you want something done, you have to do it yourself. As part of the Parrots committee I have the chance to be the representation I was missing. It’s wonderful being a part of a team working together for a better, safer and kinder future for the LGBTQIA+ community. The club and its members has given me a home in a foreign country and a space where I can feel safe and comfortable being myself. I am forever grateful and proud to be part of why the club can continue do the same for more people.
Committee Member
Joseph Munro (He/Him)
As I have said before and will say again, the Parrots is so much more than a sports club. It's a social movement in community and mental health, one that I myself have reaped massive rewards from in the context of my own addiction recovery. These projects do not self sustain on thin air. We need people to keep them running and ensure their longevity. I wanted to give back to a club that has given so much to me. I want this club to survive for years to come so it can do the same for others after me. And that is why I joined the committee.
Committee Member
Kirsty Welling (She/Her)
It was such a privilege when I joined the committee to help support in any way I can. The Parrots are so much more than just floorball, giving safe events and places for the LGBTQI+ wider community, putting on events, fitness opportunities and so much more, I wanted to join this wonderful Pandemonium to help with all the hard work that goes on in the background.
