One of our clubs objectives is to help champion LGBTIQ+ Inclusivity and maximise opportunities to help showcase positive LGBTIQ+ roles models in sport.
With that in mind it is with immense pride that we can share both the SportScotland #SportForLife24 case study and short video which helps demonstrate the significant impact Perth Parrots Floorball Club is making is local, national and international.
The club greatly benefits from being a member of the Live Active Leisure Sports Development Sport for Change Network which has a significant focus on mental health, which is sadly more prevalent among the LGBTIQ+ community.
Working to ensure LGBTIQ+ individuals feel welcome, safe, encouraged and engaged is something which is fundemental to our club and we are delighted with the progress we have made.
